There are five sirens along the river between Canyon Lake and downtown New Braunfels, to provide a life-saving wake-up call in the event of a flash flood. If you hear a siren and you haven’t been told it’s a test, get as far away from the water as possible, go across the street and get into your vehicle where you parked.
Parking is across the street and can accommodate 2-3 vehicles.
